Skilled Nominated visa 190
The Skilled Nominated visa 190 is a permanent visa which allows nominated skilled workers to live and work in Australia as permanent residents. The intending migrant needs to be nominated by a state/territory government through SkillSelect.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be nominated by a state/territory government agency
- Nominated occupation must appear on either Medium and Long Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or the Short Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)
- Must receive an invitation to apply for a visa and apply online through the Department website within 60 days of invitation
- Must be under 45 years old at the time of invitation
- Nominate an occupation that appears on the relevant occupations list and obtain a positive skills assessment for that occupation
- Skills assessment must not have been for Temporary Graduate visa 485
- Have at least competent English
- Meet the points test pass mark (which is set at 65 currently) and the points score is not less than the score stated in the invitation to apply for a visa
- If at time of application, the applicant is the holder of or held a Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa 491 or Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) (SESR) visa 494, the applicant must have held it for at least 3 years at time of application unless the applicant is exempt
